Pelvic Pain

Indigo grew from the belief that patients deserve more and deserve better. We are evidence that getting the credible evidence-based help you need to be the best version of yourself does not need to be sterile and impersonal. Having helped thousands of clients from our uniquely calm, thoughtfully cultivated locations, we are proud to be recognized as leaders in expert care for even the most complicated cases

Pelvic Pain

It is estimated that approximately 1 in 7 women in the US and 1 in 10 men are suffering from pelvic pain. However, the true projections of those numbers are thought to be considerably higher as many kinds of pelvic pain have either been normalized or go unreported. For trans individuals experiencing pelvic pain, it may persist as some health care may seem unsafe, or is not accessible.

Pelvic pain encompasses a large span of diagnoses and symptoms and is inclusive of pain between the belly button and the legs, however many pelvic floor or pelvic organ diseases or dysfunctions refer pain to outside of the pelvis, such as the thighs, buttocks and low back. These symptoms can be constant or intermittent and can affect a person’s bladder and bowel function, sexual wellness and overall ability to function and participate in their daily life.

At Indigo, our evidence-based approach to treating pelvic pain is based on years of experience and extensive knowledge of complicated pelvic pain diagnoses, from pain and scar tissue post-birth to pain with sex, to vulvodynia and pudendal nerve diagnoses. All of our practitioners are manual therapists, providing hands-on, attentive care in relaxing and private treatment rooms for one-on-one care. Our holistic view means that we look beyond specific symptoms to see the greater story, treating the entire person.

It is our goal to help you feel empowered in your healing. Not only will we treat your pain, but we will help you better understand your symptoms and make you an active participant in your healing journey.
