Do I need a referral for massage therapy?

No referral is needed to book a session with our licensed massage therapists.

How long are massage sessions?

Sessions range from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on your preferences and goals.

Will my insurance cover massage therapy?

While most insurance plans do not cover massage therapy, we are happy to provide detailed receipts for potential reimbursement through an HSA or FSA.

Can I lay on my stomach for massage while pregnant?

The safest position for prenatal massage is lying on your side.

When should I start prenatal massage?

We recommend that you start prenatal massage at the end of your first trimester and/or beginning of second trimester, but you can be seen at any point to address pain if necessary.

When is it too late for pregnancy massage?

Pregnancy massage is safe even in the third trimester unless your physician has specifically indicated otherwise. 

Is a prenatal massage the same as a regular massage?

Not necessarily, prenatal massage takes into consideration the ways that your body changes throughout pregnancy in regards to hormones, structure, emotional shifts, and much more. Your practitioner will tailor the session to what your body needs at the different stages of pregnancy, and ensure we keep you safe and relaxed.

Is it safe to have a prenatal massage in the third trimester?

Yes! Prenatal massage is great during the third trimester, and can assist in pain relief and preparing the body for labor.

How close to labor can I get a massage?

We can see you right up until labor!

How soon can I get a massage after giving birth?

You can book 6 weeks postpartum.
